Core values

Six values guide my work and every engagement. They all stem from one conviction: technology should strengthen the bonds between people, not loosen them.

  1. Respect and growth of people

Every person matters. I recognise everyone's experience and ideas, I protect the time and attention of the teams I work with, and I make sure each engagement leaves people more skilled and better connected to one another than before.

  2. Independence and candour

I take no commission and sell no solution. My recommendations serve your interest only, and I tell you what I see, even when it is uncomfortable.

  3. Questioning the why

Before building anything, I take the time to understand the problem with your teams. A sound solution starts with a well-framed problem.

  4. Autonomy over dependency

My engagements are short by design. I pass on methods and tools as we work, so your team can carry on without me. An organisation that masters what it does keeps its commitments to its customers, partners and community more reliably.

  5. Continuous improvement and validated learning

Nothing is set in stone. Every step should produce learning we can verify and bring us closer to a better solution.

  6. Simplicity and flow

I build what is needed and nothing more. I look for smooth flow rather than haste, because a simple system stays understandable to those who live with it.
